Project Manager

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Primary contact for Operations when technical & project support is required for a specified geographical/Operational area
- Collaborating with stakeholders and resources to create a plan to achieve the agreed upon objectives of the project
- Define and agree on the scope of the project and the project deliverables through the planning process and manage change within the project
- Develop a schedule to achieve the scope and project objectives along with monitoring and forecasting the project against the planned schedule
- Assemble a budget for the completion of the scope, within the agreed scheduled timeline, progress the plan through monitoring and forecasting against the budget
- Develop the quality objectives with the stakeholders and define a plan to monitor the quality of the deliverables to ensure it is achieved
- Planning and obtaining resources to deliver the project objectives agreed to with the stakeholders and team to achieve the required schedule, budget, and quality
- Ongoing identification of opportunities and risks of the project and develop plans to capitalize on or mitigate them, while consistently communicating back to the stakeholders
- Hand-off the completed and commissioned project, coordinating delivery from the construction and technical teams to the Operations team, ensure full understanding and training is completed on the project deliverables
**Qualifications/Competencies**
The individual in this role will have:
- Eng., CET, RET or equivalent
- Experience in managing sustaining projects up between $0 to $200k in value and demonstrated growth in complexity of stakeholder engagement
- Proven working and collaborative relationship with Operations, driving project success
- Professional experience in managing with proven project management best practices
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate with varied stakeholders and groups
- Strong writing skills needed for the development of clear and concise project planning documents
- Received previous training in reading engineered drawings, technical specifications, and contracts
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in the use of project management software (MS Project, Excel, etc.)
- Formal training or certification in Project Management is considered an asset
- An understanding of SECURE’s services and operations

- Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
