C&W Offshore is currently looking for a HSE to join our team. This primary responsibility of this position is to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for workers by enforcing workplace laws and standards, conduct workplace inspections and investigations to ensure compliant with COR program. The job will be primarily located our facility in Mount Pearl, NL., with a day or so a week at our sister company in Bay Bulls. A minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar field is a must. The responsibilities of the HSE Advisor include, but are not limited to:

- Identify needs and design training plans and implement OHS/HSE initiatives across the company
- Provide OHS/HSE support to the business including advising management of potential issues
- Manage the COR (Certificate of Recognition) Program
- Ensure the HSE expectations are understood by all staff
- Ensure Workplace Safety and Environment compliant
- Complete Accident/Incident Investigations
- Perform any required HSE training and inspections of the facilities and equipment
- Establish and implement procedures for safety/risk/environmental management and emergencies
- Develop and/or implement additional HSE processes as required
- Develop and/or implement strategies to reduce workplace injuries and ensure workplace health and safety or to meet company needs
- Write and update program polices as required
- Prepare and present toolbox talks
- Provide seasonal safety reminders
- Organize and Chair the Occupational Health and Safety committee meetings as required by the Workplace NL and Canada Labour Code
- Complete and/or ensure completion of inspections of vehicles, equipment, buildings and rigging as per requirements and co-ordinate any necessary corrective measures
- Organize and evaluate a yearly fire drill as required by the Canada Labour Code
- Gather and provide HSE statistics to required personnel on an as needed basis
- Perform external safety audits per customer requirements as needed
- Procurement of required HSE equipment using the company’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software
- Other tasks as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
