The Centre for Accessible Learning facilitates student learning accessibility services at all three SFU campuses, supporting the accessibility for students with disabilities and the equity goals of the institution.

**About the Role**

The Associate Director, Accessibility is responsible for the operational leadership of Student Services' accessibility services at all three campuses. This role ensures the Centre for Accessible Learning's (CAL) operations are in line with SFU's strategic plan, goals, values, and institution policy on accessibility for students with disabilities and best practices in disability academic accommodations, particularly with equity-deserving student populations. The role provides institutional leadership on inclusion, accessibility, and legislative requirements and human rights responsibilities of the University. This role also works collaboratively with Student Services Leadership Team to improve student experience. Additionally, the Associate Director, Accessibility, directs the unit through an anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion and decolonized practice. This role develops initiatives using current knowledge of trends, research, and innovative practices for student engagement, retention and experience. This position also pursues research and professional development opportunities with practitioners and academic community to further practice for service and program deliverability.
