The Operations Support Clerk reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and plays a key role in the day to day operational requirements for the business. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm.

**Responsibilities**

The Operations Support Clerk is responsible but not limited to:

- Prepare paperwork for warehouse activities
- Book shipping/receiving appointments
- Receiving shipments in the system and completing physical verification
- Attend to Driver-Check-In
- Assign dock doors to drivers
- Ensure that all reports are accurate
- Daily paperwork filing
- Enter CHEP transactions
- Data entry into ERP system
- Assist in coordinating pick tickets in the WMS and on the floor with the team
- Assist team with troubleshooting any RF Issues
- Supporting activities on the floor as required, (RF Scan, pack combos, receiving counts)
- Inventory Cycle Counting
- 60% administrative in shipping office, 40% Forklift operation
- Other duties as required

**Required Qualifications**
- Ability to work in a cold environment (the office is heated but the warehouse space is refrigerated)
- Previous experience in Food Distribution is an asset but not required
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, listening
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner
- Knowledge and experience using Warehouse Management System is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously
- Willing and able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Pay: $23.00 per hour

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Warehouse distribution: 1 year (required)
- Counterbalance Forklift: 1 year (required)
