**Responsibilities**

**Plant Operations Functions**
- Supervises activities of hourly production employees
- Schedules production requirements to support daily, weekly and monthly sales forecast to meet customers’ needs;
- Schedules and assigns employee’s work based on production needs;
- Works closely with quality assurance team, sales and marketing to ensure that products meet customer needs and expectations (to include customer visits) as well as company ISO requirements;
- Attends daily production meetings on the daily running and operations of the plant;
- Housekeeping of entire plant, field supervision and trouble-shooting production/maintenance issues leading to housekeeping cleanliness issues. Maintain housekeeping standards;
- Ensure compliance with McAsphalt HS&E policies. Conduct crew safety meetings and required inspections to ensure a safe and efficient working environment;
- Ensure production operation within environmental regulations and limits;
- Responsible for inventory management of raw materials, finished material and associated reporting;
- Communication of plant requirements to on-coming shift;
- Responsible for environmental control of waste generation and disposal.

**Personnel Support Functions**
- Assisting in providing Health and Safety Training to new and existing employees;
- Responsible for the staffing and overall supervision of the production staff

Assisting in conducting annual performance reviews with staff.

**Required Qualifications**
- Technical degree or diploma
- Effective supervisory, interpersonal and communications skills;
- Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
- Experience in manufacturing Petroleum Asphalt and Asphalt products;
- Capability to troubleshooting and taking corrective actions as needed;
- Good interpersonal skills

**Responsabilités**

**Fonctions des opérations de l'usine**
- Supervise les activités des employés de production horaires
- Planifie les exigences de production pour soutenir les prévisions de ventes quotidiennes, hebdomadaires et mensuelles afin de répondre aux besoins des clients ;
- Planifie et répartit le travail des employés en fonction des besoins de production ;
- Travaille en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe d'assurance qualité, les ventes et le marketing pour s'assurer que les produits répondent aux besoins et aux attentes des clients (y compris les visites des clients) ainsi qu'aux exigences ISO de l'entreprise ;
