We are hiring for the position of **Intern / Co-Op III** to provide a range of operational and analytical support and perform transactions and other processing activities. This role will not only provide you introductory experience in a professional setting, you will also be equipped with skills and experiences that contribute to the completion of your studies and prepare you to build a career in your chosen discipline. In this role, you will:

- Develop and improve the various actuarial models used
- Help analyze experience results
- Take part in the production of regulatory rate change submissions
- Take part in the production and analysis of monthly financial results
- Participate in various research projects and market studies
- Maintain and develop the underwriting rules in place
- Contribute to various underwriting analyses
- Take part in reinsurance related tasks
- Participate in the company’s budget process

**Requirements**:
**What You Bring to TD**
- Currently enrolled in an actuarial, math or related university program
- Strong academic records and positive work term feedback
- Detail orientated, Analytical and Critical Thinker
- Quantitative proficiency and comfortable with large datasets
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Formulas), and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of personal initiative
- **Not required but would be an asset**: Previous Actuarial work experience Pursuing actuarial exams Knowledge and experience with SAS/SQL, VBA, R, Emblem, Radar, Python, Moody’s Analytics/GGY Axis and additional programs & languages University courses in Property & Casualty, Pricing/Ratemaking, Reserving, Life & Health, etc.

**Early Talent Requirements**
- This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 5th
- August 25th, 2023
