**Primary Focus**

Responsible for setting up and operating the dishwashing machine. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning duties inside and outside the restaurant as well as for helping the cooks when needed

**Main Tasks/Activities**
- Ensure the dishwashing area is clean and tidy
- Set up the dishwashing area and operate the dishwasher
- Regularly clean the garbage screens in the dishwasher and make sure the arms are free from debris
- Set up the bus pans for soaking cutlery and pre-soaking baked on dishes keeping the pre
- soaking bins full of hot water
- Keep the outside sidewalks and grounds of the restaurant free of debris and litter and sweep outside of restaurant
- Keep public and staff washrooms clean and stocked
- Complete cleaning jobs outlined in the daily cleaning schedule
- Follow Health and Safety Procedures in the Health and Safety manual
- Keep the garbage containers emptied and cleaned
- Break down any boxes from order deliveries and put out for recycling
- In the winter months ensure that the front entrance, fire exits and receiving areas are free of snow and ice

**Education and experience**
- High School education
- No experience required.

**Skills, Knowledge and Job requirements**
- Excellent work ethic
- Works quickly and efficiently handling high volumes of work
- Follows all standards, guidelines and procedures

**Personality Fit**
- Willing to help and support the team but can work independently
- Willing to perform duties as instructed
- Willingly learns new task and information

**Physical/Mental conditions**
- Long periods of standing
- Lifting heavy pans

**Working conditions**
- Fast paced restaurant environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
