**Are you currently enrolled in or has successfully completed secondary school, flexibility in availability is essential (days, evenings, nights and every other weekend and some holidays).**

Hearthstone Community Services offers full-service retirement living for Seniors. We are hiring for our Burlington Location, located by the Lake at the intersection of Burloak and Lakeshore.

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Dishwasher and Kitchen Helper for our Club food and beverage outlets, who can deliver a high level of service and exceptional dining experience for our members and their guests.

**What our Dishwashers/Kitchen Helpers do**:

- Work in our commercial kitchen, cleaning, stocking, garbage removal and organizing and delivering take-out orders for both take out, and suite delivery to our condominium homeowners, members of the Hearthstone Club
- Assist the Chefs in preparing meals to be cooked and served
- Develop great relationships with our residents, their families and all of the Hearthstone team.
- Train new Kitchen Helper staff as instructed by the Food & Beverage manager
- Comply with Public Heath department, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Employment Standards Act and corporate policies, including Covid-19 precautions
- **Full-time hours: 37.5 per week - every other weekend off and no late nights**

- Flexible work schedule (ability to work alternate weekends)
- Food handlers certificate preferred but we can provide your training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Can tolerate heat from kitchen area and occasionally work under crowded, noisy, and messy conditions, lift heavy objects (up to 23 kg / 50lbs) and walk short distances and stand throughout most of the shift
- Comfortable lifting food and beverage to and from locations within our facilities
- Ability to commute to the Burlington/Oakville border of Burloak and Lakeshore Rd.
- Comfortable working with Seniors and elderly clients
- Comfortable complying with Covid-19 protocols
- Positive attitude, great work ethic, someone who will fit well with our great team of staff
