Administrative Assistant/order Entry Clerk

Cooper Plating specializes in functional plating and provides plating solutions for customers in the automotive, military, aerospace, electronics, and commercial industries. Over the past 40 years of operation, we at Cooper Plating have earned the reputation of being an industry leader in electroplating.
We are looking for an Order Entry Clerk to join our team.
**Job Location**:Gorham St & Leslie St, Newmarket ON
**Pay rate**:$18/h.
**Shift time**:7 am - 3:30 pm
**Start date**: Immediately.
**Duration**: Long-term, Permanent
**Job duties**:
- Enter daily orders into the system to generate a Shop Traveler
- Control production for accounts with Supervisor
- Complete Packing Slips and Certificate of Compliance for Orders.
- Complete Bills of Lading.
- Make Labels for Shipping and Customer products.
- Verify all proof of deliveries for signatures, dates and that there are no part history changes
- Arrange for pick-up for Customer goods.
- Complete Customs Paperwork
- At all times set a professional example in attitude and conduct for all personnel and visitors
Other duties:
- Perform inventory audits for customers when required.
- Assist with packing and unpacking material as needed
Team Working Duties
- Provide support to other departments that have a functional responsibility in any ISO/IATF General Procedures
- Provide services to production on part or process issues.
- Participate in cross-functional work groups or seminars as required.
- Provide assistance when requested to work overtime hours.
**Job requirement**
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have some related experience or data entry experience.
- Must be able to commute to work every day.
- Must be able to work long-term.
- Must be able to work the day shift.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility would be an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
