**About the Position**:
This position provides a variety of reception and general clerical duties for the **WorkBC Centre **clients and staff. As the first point of contact for the clients, this position requires knowledge of all Employment Services and the ability to create a friendly, warm environment for all individuals using the services.

**Job Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to operate multi-line phone system
- Proven word processing skills
- Good interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and good judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to work with mínimal supervision, to take initiative, to organize and prioritize workload and to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to establish/maintain satisfactory work relationships with the public and other employees, to deal effectively with co-workers, public and staff, to maintain confidentiality, and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work within a team environment, to adapt to new technology, and to operate standard office equipment
- Able to prepare month end reports on client statistics
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or Integrated Case Management System an asset

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Completion of Grade 12 preferred; additional secretarial courses or the equivalent education and experience typically required for this position.

Must be able to pass criminal record check.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
