Under the authority of the site manager, the incumbent of this position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks. The holder also receives the different types of metals, makes a first classification and sends it to the appropriate locations.

**Receiver**:

- Direct trucks to the appropriate unloading location;
- Greet suppliers with courtesy by following our procedures and requirements;
- Inspect metal loads with suppliers to identify the different metals and carry out checks;
- Proceed with unloading;
- Store metal in appropriate locations;
- Ensure that trucks are weighed upon entry and exit;
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary;
- Effectively manage any unloading problems and inform the supervisor if necessary;
- Perform any other task that may be requested by the manager.

**Operator**:

- Operate the mechanical excavator;
- Load and unload trucks;
- Evaluate the quality of the material;
- Perform daily inspections;
- Sort and stack the material;
- Keep the yard clean.

**Qualifications**
- DEP in driving construction equipment; (an advantage)
- Knowledge of metal recycling ; (major asset)
- Minimum one year experience.

**Skills sought**:

- Punctuality, politeness and patience;
- Conscientious about his equipment;
- Good ability to concentrate;
- Very good priority management;
- Safe behavior.

**Additional Information**
- Full-time and permanent position, job security guaranteed 100%;
- Work schedule Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for 40 hours per week.
