**Patient Care Coordinator**

We are looking for a Full Time Patient Care Coordinator to join our newest integrative women’s health clinic in Ancaster, Ontario. This is a fast-paced & customer-facing role. This is a great opportunity to help make a difference in women’s healthcare and to grow within the role This position may lead to a more leadership-based role based on performance and alignment with the company's mission and values.

**Immediate Responsibilities**
- Establish genuine rapport with patients, welcoming them and ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish at the clinic.
- Enter appointments into the patient schedule and maintain a waiting list so that schedules are booked as fully as possible.
- Administer patient forms, test results and internal documents through the electronic medical records system (Jane).
- Patient checkout includes invoicing, insurance billing and receiving payments.
- Effectively work with management in continually evaluating, reviewing, and modifying operational policies and procedures in the operating manual.
- Demonstrate active listening and empathy to patients using effective communication skills.
- Responsible for the entire patient experience, establishing long-term relationships and trust in our team.
- Regular cleaning of the clinic environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

**Potential Future Responsibilities**
- Effectively manage the financial management system, balancing daily funds received, preparing statistical reports for management, as well as prepare disbursement information for the accountant.
- Effectively manage the inventory system, including assisting in managing and ordering inventory and medical supplies. Monitor and manage physical inventory, supplies, and process the selling of inventory, including fulfillment of online orders.
- Act as liaison with insurance companies, supplement companies, testing, other clinics, etc.
- Assist with internal marketing material, concepts, and content, providing input and ideas for creative improvement. Ability to support external marketing initiatives and clinic social networks.
- Assist with special program development and research initiatives.
- Ability to effectively train and lead new team members as needed.

**Required Skills/Technologies**
- Very tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot as tech-related issues arise.
- Experience with Slack, Asana or other internal messaging and scheduling systems is an asset.
- MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Docs and Gmail.
- Typing 50 wpm or higher
- Experience with Jane patient records system is a bonus
- Experience in patient care and/or administration is an asset.
- Experience working in a hospitality, customer service or retail environment.

- Ability to maintain composure through change and when under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task and regularly adjust workflow.
- Self-starter that does not need constant guidance.
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment.
- An ability to identify, evaluate and address barriers and challenges that arise, provide potential solutions and adjustments, as well as participate in the resolution of said challenges.
- Must have excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong interest in health and nutrition. Working knowledge of Naturopathic Medicine is a plus.
