Lawn Maintenance Crew

**LAWN MAINTENANCE CREW**

Seeking individuals who can provide exceptional service to our client's lawns and landscapes throughout the Ottawa/Orleans area

Prior experience preferred. Onsite training available.
- Other positions available within the company:_ Lawn Crew Leader, Lawn Labourer, Garden Crew Leader, Garden Labourer, Bush/Hedge/Small Tree Timmer, Interlock/hardscape Crew Leader.

Hourly pay from $19 to $23.

Spring landscape work pre lawn season. Fall landscape work lawn post lawn.

Winter work available after summer/fall season.
- Monday to Friday minimum 40 hours per week. Weekends off unless it rains most of the week.
- Basic day: Meet Lawn Crew truck at Place Orleans Mall, maintain lawns accross Ottawa/Orleans, and get dropped back off at Place Orleans Mall.
- Caring for established lawns by using tools like push & ride lawn mowers, whipper snipper, leaf blower, rakes, etc...
- Become familiar with all properties, locations, and site special circumstances.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in practical horticulture/landscape work, lawn care and maintenance is preferred (training available for quick learners).
- Experience in operating various landscape equipment like push & ride lawn mowers, whipper snipper, leaf blower, rakes, etc is preferred (training available).

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (Work boots, gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses).
- Must be able to meet crew at Place Orleans Mall for pick up.
- Able to professionally communicate with clients and employees.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and in a team environment.
- Must be physically capable of manual labour (Able to list +75lb).
- Fast-paced environment, a strong stamina is required.
- Able to work outside all day in various weather conditions.

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

**Experience**:

- lawn maintenance/cutting: 1 year (preferred)
- trailer: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
