We are looking for an experienced inventory manager to join our team in Canada. This will be a global role overseeing daily inventory operations and logistics, ensuring that inventory levels align with operational needs, business demands, and financial goals across all of our markets.

**Main duties for this role include**:
**Global Inventory Management and control**:
- Owner of inventory management, overseeing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, minimising excess and stockouts - including new product and spares
- Improve inventory tracking systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct and coordinate regular inventory audits and cycle counts, ensuring data accuracy and inventory integrity.
- Identify and analyse obsolete inventory and develop strategies for reduction.

**Logistics coordination**:
- Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes
- Manage and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Liaise with internal deployment teams for forecasted product requirements and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Oversee logistics partners, monitor service levels, and troubleshoot issues related to delays or discrepancies.
- Optimise logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Support RMA (Return merchandise authorization) coordination to and from hardware suppliers.

**Supplier and Procurement Management**:
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and delivery schedules.
- Analyse internal and market trends to make informed decisions about inventory purchases and ensure continuity of supply.

**Data Analysis and reporting**:
- Generate and analyse reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, lead times, and forecast accuracy.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, and vendor performance.

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in inventory management, global logistics, 3PL
- Experience managing logistics/inventory for high value goods
- Experience owning relationships with OEMs
- Experience managing complex physical equipment inventory
- Proven experience working with inventory management software (MRP, ERP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to accuracy.
