Transportation Manager

**Transport Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the facility, including but not limited to:

- Hire, train, and supervise drivers and ensure their safe and timely delivery of client property
- Ensure all drivers are up to date on company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Schedule and coordinate all deliveries in a timely manner
- Oversee the loading process from start to finish including all loading inspections, damage claims, and final delivery to the customer
- Ensure all vehicles are clean and safe at all times while transporting sensitive or high-risk items
- Conduct random inspection of vehicles at end of shift to ensure that they are safe for driving and have no mechanical issues
- Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Must be able to pass a background check with DHS.
