Position Summary

**Duration: 12-month maternity cover**

**Hours: Full-Time**

As Project Administrator you will work on a wide range of projects from an administrative perspective, supporting the Project Team throughout the construction process. You will help ensure that the best possible building and service are delivered to our clients.

As a Project Administrator your key accountabilities will involve:

- Provide administrative and coordination assistance to the Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
- Maintain consistency in project documentation for format and content, including editing and proofreading documents.
- Maintain and track approvals on project files, documents (RFI’s, SI’s, Submittals), Letters of Agreements, and contracts.
- Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Create Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
- Organize and archive project documentation.
- Order and distribute all construction drawings to appropriate parties.

As a Project Administrator your success is dependent on:

- The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced, deadline driven environment
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- The ability to build solid long-lasting relationships
- The ability to anticipate problems and solve proactively
- Close attention to detail, are observant
- You have a high degree of professionalism and maturity
- You have strong time management skills, particularly the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks
- Able to problem solve with a strong technical mindset
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to respond to problems in a friendly and solution-oriented manner.

As a Project Administrator your experience and qualifications will include:

- 1-3 years of project administration experience, preferably with a general contractor
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent writing, proofreading, editing skills
- Ability to learn quickly, be flexible and adaptable
- Strong work ethic
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer.
