**Summary**

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the management and execution of activities surrounding the procurement of IT Goods and Services across North America, with a large focus on sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate proposals with internal stakeholders and lead contractual negotiations with suppliers
- Negotiate information technology agreements and support contract renewals (e.g., licensing, infrastructure, networking, and telecom agreements)
- Develop sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients
- Work with IT functional leaders to discuss and establish strategic procurement initiatives
- Safeguard, and ensure adherence to, all company procurement processes and policies
- Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders, as needed
- Assist in other day-to-day Procurement tasks as required

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of Four (4) years of work experience in IT Procurement or related field
- Completion of an Undergraduate Degree in IT, Supply-Chain, Business Administration or other related field
- Strong negotiation skills & working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to change
- Understanding of, and experience with, legal terms and conditions and experience negotiating information technology terms and agreements such as End User License Agreements (EULA), Saas/cloud agreements, Support and Maintenance Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Telecom agreements, Managed Services agreements, and more.
- Thorough understanding of full-cycle procure to pay process & previous experience using an ERP system (IFS considered an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently within a team environment
- Positive, proactive approach to enhancing procurement methods and company practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
