Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Intermediate Procurement Specialist for our Federal Government client.

The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement of Work” but are not

limited to:
Primary Responsibilities

Procurement Specialist, Intermediate tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

- Plans and schedules for capital equipment procurement projects for the organization, prioritizing purchases, optimizing budgets and schedule.
- Develop and evaluate procurement strategies for both capital equipment and other strategic requirements as well as support plans (for maintenance) and reporting on budgets.
- Develop end-to-end (procurement to disposal) process mapping for capital equipment and other strategic requirements.
- Contribute to procurement policy and process reviews and the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Develop and write procurement support documents including business cases, briefing notes, synopsis sheets, costing models, statements of work, statements of requirements, evaluation criteria, and procurement related forms; collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and obtain relevant inputs and feedback; and coordinate sign-off by appropriate authorities within QETE.
- Keep QETE technical staff up-to date on procurement timelines.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures for capital equipment.
- Submit monthly progress reports on major activities
