Conavi Medical's innovative Novasight Hybrid System enables simultaneous imaging of coronary arteries with both intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
If you would like to be a part of our talented team that is making a difference for patients, we are currently looking for a full-time Production Technician to assemble Conavi's medical devices according to manufacturing and quality standards.
**In this position, you will**:
Assemble and/or fabricate the medical device components in accordance with process and quality documentation
Perform testing and inspection of parts to be used in the assembly of devices as required
Complete process and quality documentation as well as verify that document revisions, logbooks, and forms are maintained with the correct revision # on the production floor
Conduct routine inspections and test to identify defects or non-conformance issues and report any findings
Report on the inventory of supplies and materials
Follow instructions regarding notifications of deviations and provide information during investigations with mínimal supervision
Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure timely completion of production targets
Maintain cleanliness and order of work area to create a safe space and ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP)
Perform calibration and preventative maintenance as required
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and guidelines
**You possess the following qualifications**:
Secondary school education
Medical device production experience operating under a Quality Management System (ISO13485) is an asset
A proven ability to work with micro sized parts under a microscope (up to 40x) is required depending upon the position
Able to work in a clean room environment as required including wearing the necessary attire, performing cleaning and disinfection activities, and understanding of material flows is an asset
Exhibits attention to detail in the performance of tasks
Prioritizes and executes assigned tasks in a timely manner
Ability to lift, push, pull items weighing 25 kgs. or less
Comfortable working with small amounts of chemicals on occasion such as solvents or epoxies
