**Shift Work Required**: Yes - Hours Worked: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily Monday to Friday, and/or 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. shifts Sunday to Friday.

**Rate of Pay**: $30.65 per hour

**Start date**: To follow selection process

**Initial Reporting Location**: Frobisher (City Wide)

**Section**: Roads Operations
**Division**: Linear Infrastructure Services
**Department**: Growth and Infrastructure

**Duties**:Under the general supervision of the Citywide Superintendent or Designate.

1. Oversee a crew engaged in line painting operations.

3. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of line painting equipment and prepare paints.

4. Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of CGS's Safety Manual and the applicable Provincial Legislation listed therein.

5. Perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of Secondary School (Grade XII) Education.
- Minimum three (3) years of directly related experience.
- Capable of overseeing a line painting crew.
- Proven ability to operate efficiently as a Line Painter.
- Able to read and follow manufacturers instructions manuals for materials, equipment operation and general maintenance.
- Able to effectively complete C.M.M.S. crew cards.
- Able to read and understand plans used in line painting.
- Excellent use of English; verbally and in writing.
- Satisfactory health, attendance and former employment history.
- May require the use of a CGS vehicle on CCS business. Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, possess a valid Class “DZ” driver's licence and have an acceptable driving record.
