Physician Engagement/ Office Administrator

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Physician Engagement**:
- Foster positive relationships with physicians, addressing their concerns, and ensuring open communication channels.
- Collaborate with physicians to understand their needs and preferences, facilitating a supportive and efficient working environment.
- Organize and coordinate meetings between physicians and relevant stakeholders to enhance engagement and teamwork.
- Implement initiatives to improve physician satisfaction and overall engagement within the organization.
**Technical**
- Greet patients & collect billing information.
- Input patient information into Velox system, check valid Health card number.
- Collect monies for 'pay direct' billing & provide receipts.
- Obtain previous reports to be given to technologists with requisition.
- Assist with filing and purging responsibilities.
- Make bookings according to guidelines & provide preparation instructions.
- Ensure confidentiality.
- Follow-up on any missing information. Ex: missing doctor billing number, fax, or telephone number.
- Redirect phone calls to appropriate parties
- Record verbal orders
- Provide verbal and faxed reports.
- Follow up on OHIP rejects.
**Customer Service/Problem Solving**
- Ensure that duties and responsibilities are prioritized and handled with accuracy and speed to effectively meet clients' needs.
- Promote a positive image of themselves.
- Interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner.
- Assume responsibility for handling requests and inquiries.
- Utilize effective problem-solving techniques.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
**Communications/Teamwork**
- Maintain effective, professional lines of communication with patients, clients, radiologists, and team members, members of the management team, couriers, and other support staff.
- Accept and provide constructive feedback.
- Attend and participate in team meetings.
- Remain current with memos and updates; implement changes accordingly.
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Oxford, ON (required)
Ability to Relocate:
