**Position Description**

**IT Co-Op Student**

The IT Co-Op Student will assist the IT Department with day-to-day functions.

**Key Responsibilities **include but are not limited to**:

- Installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems, servers, software and hardware systems in support of business operations.
- Server hardware & software implementations and maintenance, including routine database of supporting documentation.
- Handling support requests with timeliness and accuracy.
- Conduct IT related training with new hires and users as needed.
- Manage Mobile Devices, including hardware, vendor contracts and records.

**Position Requirements**

**Educational & Professional Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience with personal computer hardware and software, local and remote network systems including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience with Windows 10 Operating system troubleshooting including hardware support.
- Be discreet and maintain confidentiality and security of company information.
- Valid Driver’s license with access to a vehicle an asset as travel to various project locations to administer IT support on site across Toronto/GTA may be required.
