Toronto, Canada The CFO Centre Full time

We are looking for an experienced recruiter assistant who has the energy and drive to expand our high growth financial services business and build out our Canadian team of exceptional Chief Financial Officers and Regional Directors. **You’ll be a local, or at least an adopted local in the region.**

The CFO Centre Canada is part of a global company that has a presence in 18 countries, with over 750+ CFOs who are passionate about providing top class CFO services to ambitious small to mid-sized businesses, typically with revenues between $2m-$100m. We work with businesses that don’t want, don’t need and probably can’t afford a full time CFO, yet who need those skill sets to survive and/or thrive, on an affordable part time basis.

The CFO Centre Canada started back in 2011 and operates in 10 regions across the country with a team of 80+ CFOs,and is poised for exponential growth in the coming year.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to recruit and support the regional teams of CFOs who will deliver the company’s unique style of strategic part-time CFO services.

**The duties of this role include**:

- Help with screening resume and initial phone screens
- Process background checks
- Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
- Enhancing search mechanisms to include direct searching, social media posts, webinars, events and effective advertising
- Helping the region to recruit in a more proactive manner where possible and look at innovative approaches
- Becoming a trusted advisor to your Regional Directors
- Part of the team to review the entire recruitment approach and implement any necessary changes

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as Recruitment Assistant or other recruiting-related role **preferably within the Finance Industry**:

- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
- Bachelor's degree
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
- High-energy and passion
- Demonstrated ability to meet quotas
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic hard-working and confident
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability
- BSc/BA in HR, Business or relevant field

Ultimately, you’ll help us hire efficiently and keep our hiring process running. If you have some experience in recruiting and you’re an excellent organizer and communicator, we’d like to meet you.

Location: We are a virtual business, and the role will be home based. Must be a Canadian resident (be a local, or at least an adopted local in the region).

**Part
- time 30 hours week with the possibility of FT that will include a health package and paid vacation.**
