**The role**:
Support the global Outwards Reinsurance business with ensuring an effective and efficient Outward Reinsurance function._ _Supports the VP in the management of the Outwards Reinsurance Operations function, demonstrating collaboration, awareness and understanding of various departments involved in the reinsurance process, including Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, Claims, Legal and others as appropriate to deliver on critical outward reinsurance activities.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, ad hoc reporting for quota share and XOL contracts; liaise with brokers and reinsurers as needed
- Review and interpret financial components of reinsurance treaties
- Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting and billing of ceded premium and losses to intermediaries and reinsurers
- Responsible for liaising with brokers to chase unsettled balances and respond to queries as and when they arise
- Strong analysis and understanding demonstrated from data
- Attention to detail and ensuring data integrity
- Demonstrates contributions to organizational initiatives
- Assist in leading and providing oversight of ceded reinsurance staff as needed

**Skills & experience**:

- Bachelor's degree
- Industry specific designations (CPCU, ARe, ACII etc)
- 10 - 15 years industry experience
- Able to manage conflicting priorities to achieve deadlines
