**Job description**:

- **Personal Lines Account Manager**_

**Responsibilities**:

- ∙ Responsible for day to day inquiries with respect to the client insurance needs or questions;
- Advocates on behalf of clients claims with the insurance company;
- ∙Marketing clients insurance to the appropriate markets to help secure the best product, coverage and price;
- ∙Insurer specific online portal entry - Renewals, change endorsements & new business
- ∙Renewals - responsible for tracking and reviewing client renewals to ensure that proper coverage
- Incidental new business quotations in a timely and professional manner

- Ability to adapt to new work flows and operations;
- Provide prompt and industry leading customer service to new and current clients;
- ∙Establish and maintain positive working relationships with both clients and peers
- ∙ Work effectively to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions that enhance productivity and effectiveness;
- ∙ Ability to prioritize daily activities and solve work related problems;
- ∙ Anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of clients;
- ∙ Comply with company policies and procedures;
- Want to be part of a team and involved in the community

**Qualifications**:

- ∙ 1-3+ Years’ experience as a personal lines customer service agent or similar
- ∙ Level 1 General License is required - Level 2 is an asset
- ∙ Computer Proficiency in TAM, Microsoft Office and company portals
- ∙ Understand AIC, IIBAA and other regulatory board expectations and regulations
- ∙ Knowledge of Personal Underwriting and understanding of insurance markets
- ∙ Understanding of various insurance products and company wordings
- ∙ Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
- ∙ Proven ability to deal with difficult situations.
- ∙ High degree of organizational skills
