Manufacturer - CNC Production Help Wanted

SCC Northwest Mfg Ltd is a leading manufacturer of automotive seat covers with our headquarters located in Vancouver, BC. We have been producing seating protection products for more than 25 years and have earned accolades and awards from industry insiders.
We are looking for smart, enthusiastic and dedicated applicants to fill 2 Full-Time permanent positions working in our factory.
**Duties**
- Spread fabric onto an automated cutting table
- Examine the fabric for any defects
- Read the work order to identify which parts should be included to complete the work order.
- Sort through the cut pieces of fabric and group them together using the work order as a guide.
- Organize the parts to ensure that the correct pieces are included
- Bundle them together with the accompanying work order(s).
- Sort larger pieces of fabric to be recycled and fabric to be disposed of.
- Bring cardboard cores to the recycling bin
- Empty the bins of refuse fabric
- Help unload deliveries of fabric off trucks and into our warehouse.
- you may be asked to perform some floater functions to help with other departments.
**Abilities**
- You should be well organized
- Possess good manual dexterity
- Possess average+ strength
- Have good spatial skills
- Detail oriented
- Work well with others in your team
- Focused and goal oriented
**Working Language is English**
You must be able to Speak and Read in English.
**Education**
High School or Equivalent
**Experience**
Previous experience in a cutting room environment could be helpful, but not necessary.
**Compensation Includes**
Starting pay of $18.00 per hour for the first 3 month probationary period.
Equivalent to $36,000 Annually.
3 Month Review could increase the annual pay to $38,000 per year.
Eligible for our Group Health Benefits Package which includes Dental, Optical, Medical Prescriptions, Massage, Acupuncture etc.
