Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our team. As a Microbiologist, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and interpreting data to support research and development efforts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the microbial segment of research and development. Optimize fermentation methods, develop new methods, & research to develop new technologies to make them commercially viable, to prepare the scale-up, to write methods and procedures. Contribute to and support the quality control of finished products and raw materials.

**POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**The following are essential job functions.**
- Develop new or improve existing culture medium for microbial strains.
- Develop new or improve existing fermentation process parameters, such as, batch or fed batch or other related feeding strategies.
- Develop new or improve downstream processes to improve spore quality and count.
- Develop strategies to improve the overall reliability and productivity of fermentation processes
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations, based upon research outcomes.
- Collaborate with production, process development and QC teams to identify problems or opportunities for continuous improvements.
- Independently selects techniques and procedures to solve problems within area of responsibility.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement detailed experimental projects within area of responsibility.
- Analyze data, draw conclusions, present project results, and make recommendations to the management team.
- Assists in managing the daily workflow of the laboratory.
- Handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity.
- Work closely with Quality Control (QC) Department to assure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Compliance with maintaining facility cleanliness.
- Responsible for accurate documentation on all records

**Secondary job accountabilities**
- Other related duties as assigned.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Education**:Bachelor’s degree in science or related field or equivalent professional experience with excellent English language skills, is required.

**Minimum Experience**:Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
