**Descriptions of Duties**:

- Providing assistance with tree pruning and tree removal to client properties.
- Responsible for assisting in the preparation of trucks, heavy equipment, chainsaws, any rigging and/or additional equipment.
- Performing site cleanup including brush and wood removal, raking and site remediation.
- Assisting with required general maintenance and daily inspection of equipment.
- Abiding by safety policies and procedures.
- Trained to use chainsaws, chippers and other power/handheld tools safely
- Developing tree and shrub identification skills.
- Following the directions given by lead hand, foreman or management.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid “G” license is mandatory, “DZ” or “ARZ” drivers license considered a valuable asset.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs.
- Willingness to work towards becoming a certified arborist
- Previous industry experience in landscape/horticulture considered an asset
- capable of working up to 50 hours a week
- Some travel for work will be required for this position
