We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a CSO OFA 2 or OFA 3- Site Health and Safety Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety compliance of workers and subcontractors at our construction sites. Your primary duties will include conducting site-specific health and safety orientations, facilitating site inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective measures. Additionally, you will prepare safety plans, conduct hazard assessments, investigate incidents, and ensure proper reporting. As a CSO, you will assist with labour duties and site maintenance. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and solve problems proactively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor safety compliance of workers and subcontractors on construction sites.
- Conduct site-specific health and safety orientations for new site workers and visitors.
- Facilitate and participate in site inspections, and implement corrective action as needed.
- Proactively identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare site safety plans, conduct hazard assessments, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Ensure all accidents, incidents, and injuries are properly reported to the relevant parties.
- Review sub-contractor documentation for accuracy and provide feedback to personnel.
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Administer first-aid when necessary.
- Assist with labor duties and site maintenance.

Qualifications:

- Certified Construction Safety Officer (CSO) ticket.
- Occupational First Aid Level II (OFA 2) ticket.
- Solid knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations, policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Experience overseeing health and safety on a construction site is considered an asset.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada for any employer.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
