The Opportunity:
We currently have an exciting temporary opportunity for a Social Performance Analyst to join our Social Performance team. This is a hybrid position with the option to work out of our Vancouver Regional office or Smithers office.

The Social Performance Analyst will lead Newcrest implementation and management of stakeholder engagement software and contribute to community engagement, site tours, event planning, feedback/grievance management and engagement tracking for Red Chris, Brucejack and regional activities.

The key responsibilities of the Social Performance Analyst include but are not limited to:

- Implementing and driving adherence to Newcrest stakeholder engagement software across operating assets and project teams
- Collaborate closely with site and project teams on tracking of Indigenous and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide training to new employees and users of the engagement software, as well as administrative support.
- Support record keeping of stakeholder and indigenous engagement across both assets.
- Manage and follow up on feedback and grievances.
- Support both assets in organization and execution of site tours and events
- Collaborate with the regional social performance team.
- Act as a Company representative in ongoing communication between Newcrest and Indigenous communities and leadership
- Support development and promotion of Newcrest as Miner of Choice
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.

About You:

- Some post-secondary qualifications in Indigenous relations, social sciences, sustainability, or related field
- A minimum 2 years related experience in indigenous/community relations and social performance, administration, event planning or data management.
- Experience in a cross-cultural working environment.
- Self-sufficiency, initiative, creativity, and empathy
- Demonstrated communication skills.
- High degree of computer proficiency and ability to teach and support others in software use.
- Ability to manage situations calmly and skilfully.
- Attention to detail and ability to self-manage.
- Focus on Health, Safety, and the Environment
- Effective use of stakeholder management software or other data management software
- Effective event planning and execution
