The Information Services Division are technology leader, planning and delivering successful solutions with information management and information technology (IM/IT) services to both the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction and the Ministry of Children and Family. The division also provides IM/IT resource planning, decision-making, project and issues management, security and privacy functions, and desktop support. Our guiding principle is to promote a service delivery culture that is respectful, fosters positive relationships, and promotes creative problem solving with all our staff and partners in the Social Sector.

The Business Analyst provides technology planning, business analysis, systems design and client support services. This role also provides technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent, medium sized projects from initiation to completion.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in business or technology field, and a minimum of two (2) years in each area of *Related experience, **OR** a combination of education and experience and a minimum of four (4) years related experience may be considered.
- Related experience must include:

- Minimum 2 years experience providing business analysis for key front-line systems with complex interactive business processes and multi-organization impacts; and
- Minimum 2 years experience in IM/IT projects, or significant components of a large IM/IT-focused project
- Experience in project management
- Experience working in a social sector
