We are looking for a dynamic full & part time person to join our new team of dietary staff at The Villa Retirement Lodge in Midland, On.

The server is responsible for all aspects of service to our guests. Including but not limited to ensuring that the dining room is clean well set and ready to receive guests. All service settings are ready to begin the meal service. Friendly professional service to our guests. And the reset/restock of the dining room and all areas used in service are properly cleaned and restocked for the next meal period

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Follow established policies, procedures, work systems and cleaning procedures to meet regulatory requirements
- Ensures food is prepared and served in accordance with health and food guidelines
- Participates in meal presentation
- Works cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team
- Assists in organising food preparation to ensure all meals and snacks are served on time, at an appropriate temperature, texture and quantity
- Cleans, cares for and stores equipment properly in designated areas after each use
- Responsible for reporting any required repair work or deficiency in the environment
- Delivers and serves meals according to residents assessed needs
- Assists with dining room clean-up, tear down, set up, dishes and garbage disposable
- Assists in preparing the food and the environment for all special events
- Must participate on various lodge and department committees as required
- Must actively participate in ongoing educational opportunities
- Works cooperatively with volunteers and student placements to enhance the scope of the department
- Is competent in the safe use of chemicals (WHMIS guidelines)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $17.13 per hour
