**What this Job Entails**:
Room Attendants are responsible for the daily cleaning of guestrooms in keeping with hotel standards. Room Attendants provide friendly service help to create an exceptional guest experience that drives guest loyalty.
- Provide thorough cleaning of guest rooms as per housekeeping standards
- Make beds, replenish amenities, dust, vacuum, clean living area, sanitize bathroom and maintain cleanliness standards in all assigned guest rooms
- Report any damage, maintenance deficiencies or malfunctioning equipment
- Assist in public area cleaning
- Maintain a clean and orderly cart and vacuum cleaner to maximize job efficiency.
- Respect guests’ personal information and privacy
- Log all lost and found items
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings
- Follow all health and safety regulations and report hazards
- Focus on passionate people creating exceptional experiences for our guests
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Passionate energetic personality with a team focused attitude
- Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun
- Experience in hotel housekeeping an asset
- Must be able to move, lift, carry and place objects weighing 30lbs frequently without assistance
- Detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys a moderate to high level of physical effort, position requires significant walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling
- Frequently lifting and carrying up to 40lbs
- High level of sensory attention: sight and hearing
- Manual dexterity required to use cleaning equipment
- Works with cleaning chemicals
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
