**About the Position**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Oversight**: Supervise all drywall installation activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- **Crew Management**: Lead and manage drywall crews, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure all drywall work meets specified standards and requirements.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and addressing any safety concerns.
- **Coordination**: Coordinate with project managers, other trade superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure seamless project execution.
- **Material Management**: Oversee the ordering, delivery, and inventory of drywall materials, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- **Problem Solving**: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the drywall installation process, ensuring mínimal disruption to the project timeline.
- **Progress Reporting**: Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to the project manager, highlighting any variances from the project plan and recommending corrective actions.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of all drywall activities, including work orders, inspections, and incident reports.

**Qualifications**

You’re a fit for the role of Drywall Site Superintendentif your background includes:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drywall installation and at least 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully supervising drywall crews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations related to drywall installation.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Additional training or certifications in construction management or drywall installation is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
- Ability to start work as soon as possible.
