**POSITION OVERVIEW**

As a Paint & Coatings specialist you will have the opportunity to work on matching colors, order paint material, maintain inventory level and adjust/maintain our paint line machines. You must be able to thrive in a busy working environment, be a committed team player with the ability to work independently.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**

− Extensive knowledge of the properties and use of water-based and solvent-based paints

− Knowledge of paint line equipment maintenance and operations

− 3+ years' experience working with specialty coatings and paint along with relevant technical training.

− Ability to read, interpret and work from shop drawings.

− Valid safety certificates such as: WHMIS, First-Aid.

− Proof of Valid Driver's License.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

− Review and comprehending drawings and instructions.

− Oversee color matching and paint preparation for daily production.

− Responsible for regular Paint & Coatings equipment maintenance in compliance with manufacturer's standards.

− Must be able to thrive in a busy working environment to meet scheduled dates.

− Must be fit for work, including the ability to exert physical effort and get your hands dirty.

− Must be able to handle wearing a respirator for long period of time.

− Must be familiar with working around a variety of toxic chemicals and exercise the best safe work practices and maintain continuous safety compliance.

− Must be experienced working in a production/shop environment, which can include excessive noise, dust, odors etc.

− Must at all times wear the appropriate PPE dictated by work conditions (indoor and outdoor) to safely perform your duties.

− Responsible for keeping a clean, safe working environment and 100% adherence to internal COR safety program, including monitoring, training and actively participating in the development, and maintenance of the safety culture of the company.

− Must be punctual for ALL shifts, flexibility to work overtime and weekend if required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
