**OUR COMPANY**
Our head office and warehouse location is in Calgary, Alberta. We manufacture and sell aluminum trim and systems for the exterior cladding industry, focused in accessories for Fiber Cement Siding (both panel and lap), Aluminum Composite Material (ACM), and full aluminum cladding options. Our primary market is the United States and Canada. Our products are cutting edge technology and highly innovative. With many patents in place or pending, our company has laid the path for our bright future. To support our fast growth, we are looking for a highly energetic, assertive, and motivated QHSE Coordinator to join our team.
**THE ROLE**
You are a self-motivated energetic individual who enjoys a challenge. You have a process driven mindset looking to learn and expand on your previous experiences. The role of the QHSE Coordinator will be to help develop, implement, and provide support to the health, safety, environmental, and quality programs within the organization.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review, develop, and implement health and safety policy
- Assist in development and implementation of quality system
- Prepare safety orientation, safety training and job site procedures. Direct or assist in the development of training materials
- Conduct QSM training to ensure team is aware of requirements
- Conduct accident / incident investigation and work with management to prepare recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize future recurrences
- Maintain documentation
- Plan and organize safety culture enhancement activities
- Maintain an up-to-date database of all safety training
- Assist in managing workplace injury, disability and workers’ compensation case management (WCB)
- Communicate and interpret various policies, procedures, regulations etc. to team
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 2-4 years in a safety coordinator role ideally in manufacturing or warehousing
- Experience with WCB management
- Experience implementing HSE policy and procedures
- Experience with quality management systems
- Experience with root cause analysis and incident investigation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Certified Safety Professional an asset but not required (CRSP or CRST)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
