**The Opportunity**
**How you will make an impact**
**HRIS Management**
- As Subject Matter Expert (SME), provide configuration, maintenance, enhancement and troubleshooting support to ensure alignment with legislative, Collective Agreement requirements and business strategy
- Manage the escalation to the vendor/internal IT team for Tier 2 support as required
- Implement data quality control measures to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance including data entry, audits and reporting
- Analyze HR processes to understand pain points and identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimize system functionality
- Create user documentation and procedures; maintain clear, comprehensive business requirement documents for all system changes
- Manage large data change activities such as mass uploads, mass salary changes into HRIS
- Update and maintain HRIS table data such as pay scales, job codes, implementation of changes resulting from changes to collective agreements, policies and legislation
- Liaise with the vendor to remain current on new releases and upgrades to software. Lead testing, validation and overall performance prior to implementation
- Prepares training resources and delivers educational presentation (system features, new functionalities or upgrades etc.) for end-users as needed
- Ensure system security by managing end-user access
- Act as back up for:
- Total Rewards Analyst for market surveys and total rewards data analysis
- People & Culture Coordinator for processing/updating employee record changes
**Data analysis and reporting**
- Develop, and maintain detailed reports and dashboards on HR metrics, providing actionable data driven insights to the Executive Team and Senior Leadership as required
- Perform advanced statistical analyses to identify trends related to workforce planning, compensation, talent management, diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Provide the necessary reports to facilitate compensation planning & compliance, and benefit analysis & negotiation
- Meet with end users to understand report requirements and create processes to optimize the capabilities of the HRIS system
- Research best in class HR analytics practices and prepare recommendation for adoption
- Other duties as assigned
**What you will bring to TVO**
- A degree in Human Resources or CHRP designation with a minimum of 3 years direct experience in people analytics and HRIS data management.
- Advanced MS Excel experience using large data sets, advanced formulas, pivot tables,
- Knowledge of HR workflow configurations in payroll, absence management and process optimization
- Ability to translate complex data and technical concepts into easy-to-understand visual formats such as Visio, MS PowerPoint, or dashboards
- Awareness of HRIS (UKG) functions and the ability to perform routine tasks
- A high degree of accountability and pride in accuracy and data integrity
