The Coffee Shop in Devon is a bustling local cafe serving up delicious coffee, sandwiches, and baked goods to our vibrant community. **We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Barista and Sandwich Kitchen Staff for the summer season and potentially year round**
- **Position Overview**:_

As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe. We are looking for university-aged locals who are personable, mature, and responsible, with a passion for delivering quality food and beverages to our customers.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, sandwiches, and other cafe menu items with precision and care
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food preparation areas and customer seating areas
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to be trained in both barista and kitchen positions, with a focus on versatility and flexibility
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including food handling and sanitation protocols
- **Qualifications**:_
- Previous experience in a customer service and or food service is required
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude towards tasks and responsibilities
- Common sense and quick thinking are highly valued personality traits
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
