**Compensation**:
Commission-based, $400-$600 per bin placed, plus a bonus of $300 per bin placed after a bin achieves 3 months of successful collections.

**Hours**:
Flexible - likely during standard business hours

**Job Overview**:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Summer Sales Interns to join our team in the Durham area to sell clothing donation bins to local businesses. The primary focus of this position is to drive sales by promoting the benefits of our clothing donation bins, including environmental sustainability, additional funding for educational programs, fostering eco-conscious habits, and a no-cost setup for participating businesses.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Identify and target prospective businesses in the Durham area that could benefit from hosting a clothing donation bin.

Conduct research to develop a comprehensive understanding of the clothing donation bin program, its benefits, and the value it brings to businesses and the community.

Deliver persuasive presentations that effectively communicate the benefits of the clothing donation bin program to potential clients.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Collaborate with the team to establish sales targets and strategies to achieve them.

Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and closed deals, and provide regular updates to management on progress towards sales targets.

Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to continually develop sales skills and stay informed about program updates and changes.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; current enrollment in a post-secondary institution is considered an asset.

Previous sales, marketing, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a commission-based sales environment.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the Southern Durham area.
