**The Mission of the Train Control Métier Department is to integrate on Rolling Stock On Board Train Control & Information Solution (TC&IS) and Develop Train level Functions according to Customers Requirements within an Optimal schedules, budgets and resources**:
Under the supervision of the Train Control Engineer, the **Software Engineer Intern** works closely with colleagues to** design, develop and test the software and tools, which are used to support the operation and maintenance of railway vehicles.** As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the software Engineer Intern contributes to the development and integration process of the Train Control and Management System (TCMS).

**YOUR INTERNSHIP**

During your internship, you will be asked to perform the following tasks:

- Design and develop software components
- Participate in design and develop of software tools
- Participate in technical solutions as a software developer
- Develop and document software components
- Execute software validation tests in the laboratory

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Are a student in **software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent**:

- Are Bilingual (English and French, oral and written)
- Have knowledge of programming languages (like: C/C++, C#, XML and Python)
- HAve the ability to develop solutions and document them into software design artifacts
- Knowledge of SVN or git would be an asset
- Be a team player and have great communication skills
