We are looking for a Cashier/Salesperson to join our team and provide excellent customer service at the Assiniboine Downs Markets on the following dates:

- June 11, 2:00 pm - 12:00 am (Sunday)
- July 1 2:00pm - 12:00 am (Monday)
- July 23 2:00 pm - 12:00 am (Sunday)
- August 27 2:00 pm - 12:00 am (Sunday)

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Answer customer questions regarding products and services.
- Ring up sales on cash register and accept payment from customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of store.
- Ensure shelves are stocked with merchandise.
- Keep track of inventory.
- Support the owner with the set up, clean up at the markets.
- Support the owner with preparations before the events (usually the day before).

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 8 days

**Salary**: $13.00-$20.00 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Weekend availability

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- 10 hour shift
- Afternoon shift

- Evening shift

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
