Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join the Fire & Spice team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or other electronic devices
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and product information
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Perform opening and closing procedures as required
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges

**Skills**:

- Strong retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in conducting product demonstrations is a plus
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly desirable
- Familiarity with technology sales is an asset
- Proficient in English language (verbal and written)
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient operations
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Proven ability to sell products or services effectively
- Previous cashiering experience is preferred but not required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.30-$22.26 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
