Mississauga, Canada Medical Equipment Company Full time

**We are looking for a full time electronics technician to join our company in the role of Service Technician and train under our Senior Technician.**

Medelco Inc. is a small-sized Canadian company located in Mississauga which sells and services medical equipment for Physiotherapy Clinics and Rehabilitation Centres.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Test various medical equipment using Oscilloscope, multi-meter and other test equipment
- Diagnose problems and perform repairs, board replacements, etc.
- Perform calibrations and certification on various medical devices
- Must also be able to work with mechanical equipment such as heating units, therapy beds and exercise equipment (treadmills, bikes)
- Managing the entire repair process, keeping equipment moving through the department until its return to the customer
- Communicating with customers, preparing and sending Repair Estimates to customers

**Qualifications**:
Required: A college level electronics technician or technologist diploma from a Canadian institution

Required: Minimum 2 years experience repairing electronics, soldering, etc.

Other:

- A solid understanding of using Oscilloscope, multi-meter and other test equipment
- Technically inclined, including good at working with your hands and an ability to problem solve
- Physically able to occasionally lift and maneuver heavy equipment
- Excellent customer service skills including written, verbal and telephone communication skills
- Good organizational skills to keep department organized and equipment moving
- Very good computer skills including use of Windows, internet and Microsoft office
- Must have a Class G driver's licence with a clear record as field service / service calls may be part of future responsibilities

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
