**Job description**:
As a Payroll and Accounting Administrator, you’ll play a crucial role in managing financial processes within an organization. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Payroll Management**:

- Collecting, verifying, and processing payroll information.
- Calculating pay and benefit entitlements for employees.
- Handling regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments (e.g., bonuses, vacation pay).
- Managing payroll-related filings and documentation.
- **Accounting Duties**:

- AR/AP data entry.
- Running payroll.
- Managing petty cash flow.
- Updating accounting databases.
- Reporting any financial discrepancies to management.
- Submission of payments to government authorities as well as pension and union dues

**Desired Qualification and Competencies**:

- 2+ years experience with Payworks
- 1+ year experience in QuickBooks Desktop
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
