Are you an experienced and accountable construction site supervisor with a passion for excellence and eye for the smallest details that make you indispensable on any team? Then we've got an exciting, **immediate start** opportunity for you in the Winnipeg area

Operating across Canada for over 30 years, Glacier West Construction is a trusted design builder specializing in food processing, CNG/LNG conversion, cold storage, distribution facilities, and institutional works. We offer end-to-end construction delivery methods, customized to the unique needs of our clients. Our commitment to provide unmatched project engineering and construction management services helps us succeed to execute on projects of all sizes from small renovations and industrial tenant improvement to state-of-the-art, full-scale Greenfield construction.

The work hours for this position will initially be part-time (20~ hours per week) and are expected to increase to full-time (40 hours) as we move into the next phases of the project in May/June.

Job Requirements:

- 7-10 years progressive experience in General Contracting as a Superintendent or Site Supervisor.
- Ability to run commercial, light-industrial, mid-sized projects valued at $1M-$10M with limited supervision.
- All-weather construction experience on ground-up projects.
- Trades background (carpentry, concrete, finishing, service or special projects work) is preferred.
- Ability to read prints, measurements and layouts.
- Competency in areas of safety, administration, workforce management, cost/quality control, administration, and project execution.
- A strong understanding of other trades and disciplines as they relate to workforce planning and site coordination activities.
- Project management skills and understanding of core principles construction (safety, budget, schedule, & SOWs)
- Demonstrated strategic planning, problem-solving and risk mitigation skills.
- Your relationship building skills and collaborative approach have allowed you to build trust and grow your network of professional and innovative partners.
- Abilitiy to manage difficult situations with positive results.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
