Recovery Specialist

This is a fast-paced administrative role that involves coordinating with bailiffs and tow companys to facilitate vehicle repossessions. You would be responsible for monitoring inventory, managing documentation, and maintaining records associated with vehicle recoveries.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Organize bailiffs and tows for recovery department
- Update, maintain and monitor recovery spreadsheets
- Create vehicle advertisements
- Gather documents after sales (i.e. ID, insurance, proof of address and etc.)
- Sign client documents at closing (OMVIC required)
- Receive repossession requests from customer service/default
- Dispatch tow trucks/bailiffs for repossessions
- Record repossession notes and distribute to the proper departments
- Scan documents for Remarketing department i.e., safety’s, e-tests and miscellaneous invoices purchased on company credit card
- Request and send ownerships for sold units
- Pull vehicle History Reports from UCDA and save in clients files
- Other duties relevant to the position will be assigned as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong administration and organizational skills
- Valid Driver’s license
- Clean driver’s abstract required
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Must be able to obtain an OMVIC license if requested
- Experience in automotive finance field preferred

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
