**Job Summary**
**General responsibilities**
- Managing the daily operations of the plant while testing plant processes and ensuring efficiency and safety
- Preparing and reviewing reports and maintaining necessary administrative records
- Working with the maintenance manager to optimize machinery and equipment with regular maintenance programs
- Command a team of middle management and shift supervisors to develop and implement operational policies while enforcing regulatory compliance standards and procedures
- Recruit, hire, and develop qualified people while overseeing the training, coaching, and evaluation of all staff
- Prepare long

- Identify and provide strategic solutions to mitigate operational and tactical risk
- Oversee, assess, and revise operational systems, processes, and infrastructure
- Identify, monitor, and update operational key performance indicators to achieve productivity and cost reduction targets and improve customer satisfaction
- Perform reasonability testing and information validation before forming and sharing findings and recommendations
- Oversee and analyze, reports, schedules, and forecasts to optimize efficiency and profitability
- Building and sustaining strong connections with both clients and suppliers.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of proven operations management experience, preferably within a production facility for packaging, food processing, metal or plastic parts production, or pharmaceuticals
- Proficiency in ERP and management software programs such as Syspro, SAP, QuickBooks or NetSuite
- Knowledge of GMP’s, Sanitation Practices, Root Cause and Hazard Analysis Principles (HACCP)
- ISO 9000, Lean Six Sigma, AIB, and/or SQF knowledge and training an asset
- Ability to identify and resolve problems independently and with sound judgment
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, Power Point) and Data Entry.
- A proven ability to work with a variety of people in a team setting while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company.

Pay: $110,000.00 per year
