**Job Description**:
We are looking for an Events Team Lead to join our Smart Vehicle Solutions team located in Markham.

You are responsible for the planning and execution of industry outreach events across Ontario for our delivery partners (e.g., inspection centres) under contract. You will be responsible to lead and work with an energetic team, all while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

As the Events Team Lead, some of your responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Plan and execute industry outreach campaigns (in-person and virtual), including:

- Develop and edit communication materials, presentations, and videos
- Planning and executing tasks related to successful industry events
- Lead team members to meet required timelines
- Industry participation surveys
- Support ongoing prioritization and documentation of requests that are aligned to the client’s priorities
- Collaborate with inter-departmental leads and cross-functional partners
- Prepare and deliver project progress reports
- Attend and present at project meetings
- Work closely with project leaders to ensure client satisfaction
- Work independently and as part of a team, with changing time constraints.
- Work with mínimal supervision within departmental defined procedures.
- Cultivate a strong team culture, focused on customer-centricity and going above and beyond
- Build accountability by setting clear goals and objectives
- Manage multiple tasks and deliverables that come up through the life of a project

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 (two) year customer service or events planning experience.
- Minimum 2 (two) year of leadership or management of personnel, customer service experience required.
- Fully fluent in English - reading, writing and spoken
- Pleasant telephone manner; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to anticipate concerns or issues, decision making and negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated ability in project coordination in a complex, matrixed and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle challenging situations by exhibiting composure and empathy.
- Ability to effectively manage confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Ability to multitask, quickly adapt to new information and procedures.
- Strong analytical and good mechanical/technical aptitude would be a definite asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and preferred familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Driver’s License Required

Must be flexible to work remotely and travel for short periods.
