McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association is searching for a Program Manager to support the leadership of our team of dedicated professionals providing quality services in Fort McMurray and the surrounding region. McMan Fort McMurray provides programs for children and youth in care; children, youth and families receiving supports through FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) and individuals receiving support from the Northeast Fetal Alcohol Network.

**What you’ll do**:
Reporting to the Director of Programs and Services, the Program Manager will be instrumental in the continued growth and expansion of service delivery in Fort McMurray and the surrounding area. The Program Manager will oversee two supervisors, a team of professionals, and guide daily operations.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Demonstrates strong business acumen along with the ability to integrate diverse perspectives; identifying opportunities and following through by building relationships and partnerships that advance McMan’s presence, reputation, and services delivery in the region.
- Fosters and encourages a culture that aligns with organizational values.
- Provides performance, leadership, coaching and mentoring to employees and supervisors through a best practice, harm reduction lens.
- Debrief and follow-up critical incidents and/or crisis situations in conjunction with supervisors, as required, to provide support, ensure procedures were followed and minimize future incidents.
- Manage budgets, multiple funder requirements and reporting deadlines.
- Responsible for records management, and accurate and timely reporting.

**What you bring**:

- A post-secondary diploma in human services or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a leadership/management role and at least two years’ experience in direct care service provision.
- Education and/or experience working with Indigenous communities, organizations, and/or children and families in community-based settings. Understanding of the importance of Ceremony and willingness to demonstrate commitment to it through engagement and participation.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of partnerships and community relationships.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Must have a strong commitment to work effectively as a member of a team and be able to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Class 5 drivers license and comfort driving to various locations are required.
