Progressive Steps Training and Consultation Inc provides behaviour analytic services to individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities across the GTA and Durham Region. We specialize in teaching independent living skills, vocational skills, social skills and the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviour. We provide staff and parent training as well as direct support to individuals in need. We are committed to providing effective evidence-based interventions to individuals, their families and others who support them.

**We are currently looking for individuals to implement behavioural support plans, skill development programs and crisis intervention procedures with a young man with Autism who also may exhibit aggression or self-injurious behaviour.**

In this role, you will work within a team that includes close supervision, support and training from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
- _please note: for the is position you will be hired directly by the family who receives Clinical Supervision and support from Progressive Steps._

We're looking to fill 16 - 24 hours per week.

**Shifts are**
- **7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Day shift)**:

- **3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (Evening Shift)**:

- **11:00 pm - 7:00 am (Overnight Shift)**

**must be available for dayshifts each week**

**must be available on weekends**

- A college diploma or university degree in behaviour sciences, applied behaviour analysis, or developmental service worker, or equivalent Those working towards their degree or diploma will also be considered. (preferred)
- You have completed the registered behaviour technician (RBT) course or would be willing to complete it as a condition of your employment
- Experience working with adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities and ASD (required)
- Experience supporting someone who engages in challenging behaviour (required)
- Works well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Openness to learn from others, including the client you're supporting

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $19.00-$28.00 per hour
